Coin-type Manganese Dioxide Lithium Batteries
Characteristic | Primary Batteries

- The nominal voltage is 3 volts, about the double that of other battery chemistries(alkaline button batteries, silver oxide batteries, etc.). They can be used for a long period of time in low drain applications.
- Manganese dioxide is used for the positive active material, and metallic lithium is used for the negative active material. An organic electrolyte is used.
- By applying our special design, the batteries deliver good performance even at low temperatures, with a wide temperature range.
- These batteries also meet the needs of high drain and pulse discharge applications, such as back-lighting and alarm functions equipped in electronic watches.
- The special design assures minimal self-discharge and the batteries can be stored for a long period of time.

These batteries contain combustible materials such as lithium, organic solvent, etc. By misuse, this may cause battery leakage, heat, explosion or ignition , bringing, about injury or apparatus failure. So, observe strictly the following matters.

- Do not short-circuit, recharge, disassemble, deform, solder, heat above 212°F, or incinerate.
- Do not insert batteries in reverse polarity.
- Keep batteries out of reach of babies and little children. If by any chance, the batteries are swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
- Do not connect (+) (-) of the batteries with wire and do not carry or keep metallic necklace, hairpin, etc. together with batteries.
- At the storage or disposal of the batteries, insulate the terminal parts with tape or the like.

- Do not mix and use "different types of batteries" nor "used and new batteries" together.
- Keep in original package until ready to use.
- Dispose of used batteries promptly.
